Sahitya Akademi
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Diganta Biswa Sarma, Convenor of the Assamese Advisory Board of Sahitya Akademi, an eminent writer and distinguished orator, who inspired the audience with his insightful address.
The programme commenced with a devotional song performed by child artist Jitakshar Chakraborty.
The first session, Nari Chetana, was chaired by eminent poet Lutfa Hanum Selima Begum. During the session, Archana Borthakur, Bharati Bharali, Devika Dutta, Deepanjali Das Pathak, and Suranjana Sharma presented readings from their latest creative works.
The second session, Mulakat, was chaired by noted short story writer Apu Bharadwaj. In this session, Himang Das, Manasjyoti, Nava Rajan, Rashmireeya Gogoi, and Shashwati Sabhapandit read from their original literary creations.
The event was attended by several distinguished personalities from the fields of literature, art, and cinema, including writer and translator Suren Mohan Das, artist Manoj Chakraborty, poet Dhiman Barman, Monika Das, Mintul Hazarika, Geeta Chaharia, Antarip Kakati, Mridusmita Mahanta, Meghali Baruah Saikia, Archana Thakuria, translator Bibekananda Choudhury, Pranjit Das, Hemanta Kumar Das, Nani, Abhishek Borthakur, Abhijit Bora, and Shantipriya, along with many other literary enthusiasts.
On behalf of Hansadhwani, Founder Secretary Sangeeta Medhi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Sahitya Akademi, all participating writers, distinguished guests, and everyone present for contributing to the successful conduct of the programmes.
