The sudden floods that inundated various areas such as Sivasagar and Jorhat caused widespread devastation across these districts. As people from all over Assam came forward to stand by those affected and help them cope with the crisis, Hansadhwani too stepped forward with the intention of providing relief and support to the flood-affected communities. In the first phase, Hansadhwani travelled to Sivasagar in collaboration with Padank: The Book Café. As part of the relief initiative, ready-to-eat food items suitable for children, pregnant women and the elderly were provided, along with essential cleaning and hygiene materials such as Dettol, phenyl, Surf, soap and other sanitation products. In the second phase, with the support of Manas Packaging, Hansadhwani reached the interior areas of Sivasagar and distributed relief materials to approximately 100 families. These included essential food items, cleaning and hygiene products, slippers, new undergarments for both men and women, and stationery and writing materials for students.
